Rest & Relaxation Massage

Relaxation Massage uses flowing, gentle Swedish massage strokes and lighter touch to help remind the body that rest & relaxation is vital to our wellbeing.

This is a full or half body massage that does not concentrate on specific problem areas as much as remedial massage, but gives the body some much needed calm instead,

which really is equally important.

Research around massage isn't great, but what we do definitely know is that massage helps to ease anxiety and symptoms of depression via a lowering of the stress hormone

cortisol ...which is huge in the medical world!

Light touch can also temporarily relieve the suffering of chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia due to hacking the nervous system's connection to the brain.

Unlike some of the medications for anxiety & depression, there are no harmful side effects from relaxation massage.

What are you waiting for? Book in today.

You will feel blissfully light and carefree when you leave the yurt, that's a promise.

Why not add on an extra session of stretching and meditation after your relaxation session? We offer a 30 minute treatment where your therapist will use passive stretching

techniques on the major muscles groups prone to stiffness and then offer a

guided meditation afterwards.

All this for just $30 extra - so worth it.
